Time2Write
A downloadable Time2Write for Windows and macOS
Time2Write is a minimalist writing sprint app. Set a target time and word count and start writing. If you are too slow you enter overtime, where stopping means losing words!
Time2Write is also available on the web at time2write.net. This offline version behaves exactly like the web app but opens as a normal program on your Mac or PC.
Additionally, there is a free native Android app with some additional features on the Play Store.

Really nice, simple writing software! I especially love the UI, it's really clean.
Also, what did you code this in? I'm assuming it's html/js/css, but how did you turn it into a desktop application?

Yes, it is a originally a web app. I used Tauri to turn it into standalone software :).
Thanks! I'll definitely check that out! I'm making a project similar to yours and I've been wanting to figure out how to turn it into a standalone application. Currently, I just have a zipped file and an index.html that you run.
